damnit!!!

i got 18 for the parabola...then i got 9.4 someshit for the damn triangle...so obviously the area isnt negative....what a f*** up

Heah I got 12 too. But I couldn't figure out how to get the area for the last bit. Thought I'd fing the area of a triangle, using didtance formula, and tan0=m for 1/2absinC

Ohh Boyy!

if u use the 1/2absinC u have to make sure you have EXACTLY the right angle
I used the base and perp distance way too

Ok- with regard to question 8 of the 2 unit exam- for the area with the parabola- I got 652 for one and 592 for the other- very strange answers- hopefully they were right. Interesting question though eh?
