Does anybody know how to work out the parent base and acid for salt solutions and we able to help me with some problems?

I have one example: for KCl the parent base is KOH and parent acid is HCl.

thankyou.

the salt solutions are:

Ammonium Acetate, Ammonium Chloride, Calcium Acetate, Magnesium Chloride, Magnesium Sulfate, Sodium Acetate, Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate, Sodium Hydrogen Sulfate, Potassium Nitrate.

In general:

Acid + Base ---> water + salt

Acid + carbonate base ----> water + CO2 + salt

So you may find it useful to work backwards.

so, for example, Magnesium Chloride (MgCl2), well this must have been formed from HCl and Mg(OH)2. Sodium Carbonate, well this must have been formed from sodium hydroxide and carbonic acid. etc...
