You guys nuts... Try avoid paying, and the permits are not normally available to undergrads anyway (or in low numbers).

If it's for 8am lecture, go park in Wilson street or Darlington road opposite the student houses. Not many ppl are there so early in the mornings. Look them up tomorrow.
But keep free parking a secret. ;P
