Let me say something quite fair: GodLovesIsrael, the very reason that YOU are able to live in this country is that we respect other people's faith and remain tolerant to other people's beliefs. If everyone insists that public celebration of someone's faith is offensive to them, then we'll not live by tolerance and respect, but intolerance and hatred. In any case, I guess you would find signs that says "Happy Chinese New Year" very offensive as well, because it's a sign that celebrates pagan religion.

I went to a Catholic school, and we once had a Jewish Rabbi from the Conservative sect coming to address us. At least he did'nt find the invitation very offensive. I also know other Jews from my life, but your idiosyncracy and intolerance is nowhere to be found in them.
