I know this sounds strange. Most of you will probably enjoy holidays more.

But I have to say, I hate HSC holidays. They were great before this year, but now they just suck.

I go to bed late. I get up late. I eat late. I am lazy. I bludge all day when I have a nice pile of assignments to do. I feel shit coz I bludge. I get depressed because the work gets even more stressful. It totally sucks.

At school, at least I am FORCED to interact with other people. Plus, I can talk to them about work, and compare with them. It feels like I have a tighter grip on the HSC at school.

holidays FTW. i do more work as i have long days and also a plus is that i can take my time with it, if theres not an exam or upcoming assessment that is. At school, i do get motivated more to work harder but by the time i get home i'm usually half-dead lol.

I have two big assignments due in the first week back.

I also have to work on my EE2 Major Work and a minor assignment for EE1.

I guess that's why these holidays suck. And they're so friggin' short.

yep...i got the same problem too...I feel so lazy in the holidays. It's like everyone cant wait for the holidays, then when it comes you just waste it.

Oh man, that sucks :( they shouldn't give that much work to anyone esp. in a holiday period. but good luck with it!

We didn't get any only were told by some teachers to go ahead a bit in study so we were more prepared for the coming term

All my life i preferred school rather than staying home when i was sick etc... but i dont know about this year for the HSC. I start to dread going to school everyday i guess because the content in the syllabus' are soo dull and boring and the pressure to do well is so much that i love holidays

I also always preferred it. I remember when I was sick I hated staying home. It was horrible. Bet my friends who I probably infected with the cold I had hated me.

I have to agree with that statement. However, with uni days, you would catch up with everyone without having to organise anything, plus there's more of a schedule.

I personally would prefer nothing before noon, and then some repetitive events in the afternoon instead of a whole day taken up by uni or nothing.

I liked school. It's easier to stay motivated at school and I had more fun hanging out with friends at school and mucking around in classes.
