if using a mac, the easiest way is to open the pdf doument in BBEdit lite (or a similar text program) and then save it as a text document then open in word. There is a piece of software that will to this called "pdf to word" (i think) but it costs big $$$

Im sure if you are a windows user, a similar text program will do the same trick (gotta be a good one...not notepad or whatever it is called!). Maybe some of the unix type prog.s will do (Vi etc)

Im sure someone here will be able to suggest a powerfull text processor for windows

You can manually select the text in Adobe and then copy this translated text into a word document. That may get tiresome for big documents, though.

You can go Edit: Select All.

And then copy it, but you will lose the formatting.
