Yes, you can still get a 100 UAI...

Just like (almost) everything else, it scales well if you do well.

Chemistry is really high scaling, like 2nd to economics for a 2unit sub i think! I think mean marks or whatever they use to show how well scaling a subject is is around 31/50

Biology is good, but not great, like 26/50

PE is lower scaling, like business studies and ancient history, about 23/50

But if you nail it, who cares :)

Over the past few years, PE has been growing in popularity eg about 5 years ago just over 10,000 students did it - this year almost 13,000.

In particular, we are now attracting plenty of top students who recognise it's value to gain entry into courses such as medicine, physio and radiography etc etc

With more people doing the course, and also more really talented students the scaling is getting better and better. I don't think they publish scalings anywhere public - but the consensus is that PE scales about the same as Biology.

If you do well in PE (like any other subject), it will really help your UAI.

The scalings a published every year. But just use the 2003 Scalings as they have all changed minimally since then.

So PDHPE does not have the best scaling but as everyone above said, just do well in all your subjects and scaling doesn't matter.
