yeah, but also with a normal (plastic) ruler and a bendy ruler
they also leaked everywhere when i was just writing!
so i don't use them anymore
Yeah, but if you used it with a metal ruler, then the nib's already cut, so whenever you use it again, it will leak (even if you're writing normally). :p

Blue. its actually quite funny, i use 4 colour pens, and just chuck them out when i run out of blue.
I bought a 4 colour pen once that had additional black and blue inks, that you can slot in once the original one had run out. But I've not seen them since, so they must have been a bonus or something.

Wow, I would love that. I'm always using 4-colour pens and the blue just ran out of my favourite one :( :( So I have to get a new one.

Anyway I like blue pens, mostly because they look neater, and all the lines in my books are light blue so they kind of match? Black doesn't contrast enough to look good, so blue has to match... Also for some reason all the blue pens I have are slightly thicker, while the black ones are way too thin for my liking...don't know why though :)

The only exception to the blue rule is in maths. I write in coloured pens for maths :D

Really didn't expect blue to be ahead of black. I voted black, it looks so much more professional then anything else. Felt tip > Ball point as well.

Re: blue or black pen?

I cannot believe this thread is still going.

I better add something on topic. I only use blue because I have a whole load of blue pens which I like using in exam situations because they are easy to write with, non smudgy and relatively comfortable. No point going and getting black ones just for the special occasion.

emytaylor164-I have no idea about yellow paper, never used it in an exam, all the paper that I have been provided with has been white.

Re: blue or black pen?

Is there anyone else here who honestly doesn't care what colour pen they use.

I have 10 pens in my Pcase, blue/black and whatever i pull out i use.

Some books have two colours.
