Assessment One (Discovery) (15% Weighting): 90%
Comment: Was reasonably happy with this mark, although felt as if with a bit more in depth analysation and proper time allocations, my marks could have been top. Was disappointed with not ranking first in this task.
Assessment Two (Module C) (15% Weighting): 80%
Comment: Was very unhappy with my mark, once again one mark behind the top. Felt as if I ended poor and was told by my teacher, that If my conclusion was completed, one or two marks could have been bettered. FFS

HSC AIM: 95%
Assessment One (Essay) (25% Weighting): 95%
Comment: Was pretty content with this mark, still pushed for a better mark from teacher, was not given though
Assessment Two (Assessment/Essay) (20% Weighting): 88%
Comment: Was completely shattered by this assessment task, for the amount of effort put in, was pretty much in tears for the mark that I received, only has put more hunger in the belly.
Assessment Three: (Essay- In Class) (30% Weighting): 85%
Comment: This was an assessment task that I admittedly did leave to the last few days. With this in mind, I was very confident with achieving a top mark. I started off the essay perfectly, I mean I couldn't be more happier. Yet as it progressed, one silly structure error threw out my whole essay, and I was in a state of panic for a few moments. This was the continuum throughout the remainder of the 40 minutes, and my teacher approached me at the conclusion and said that If my structure flowed correctly, I would of easily hit 95-100%. This was frustrating as I knew my content and was very confident, just one silly error in the clutch threw me off. I need to be better acclimatised to exam high pressure conditions, as I almost seemed to choke in that essay.

Comment: Really did not put in the required effort with this one. Left it to the last minute, thought I could slide with natural ability, and certainly got a reality check.
Assessment Two (Exam) (15% Weighting): 70%
Comment: Once again, was in for a rude awakening with this mark, broke down and had a heart to heart with my teacher, bless her soul. Honeslty was the catalyst for a dramatic effort change.

GENERAL MATHS
Only recently moved to this class, felt as if I had a better shot if getting a good ATAR if I left 2 unit where I was going average, now have the chance to smash the general course. Missed out on the first two assessment tasks, obviously because I was in two unit, have the remaining two to go (assessment and trial), teacher said that I will get an estimate for the first two tasks based on my marks.

Assessment One (25% Weighting): 100%
Comment: came first in the class, was happy with this mark, but knew if I didn’t pull my head out come half yearly, my rank would fall.
Assessment Two (20% Weighting): 30%
Comment: Did absolutely disgusting in this exam, truth be told, did not study and turned up with the false comfort and bunker of the 100% in the first assessment.
Positive Side Note: even with this horrible mark, my overall mark is 71% due to the (PRAISE THE LORD) weightings, and all hope is not lost for a strong rank/mark. Have lots of work to do, but am more than ready to put in.

Comment: Got into a heated dispute with my teacher, the co-ordinator and education office about this mark, was very much ripped off and still hold a grudge. Poorly marked and have no respect for the teacher that marked it at the moment, so disappointed.
Assessment Two: (20%): 70%
Comment: In summation, my half yearlies all round were poorly went about. No real effort of urgency was put forth and I paid the price.

Current comment: Whilst I am on track in some sense, I am nowhere near there. Some of my subjects need to pull up dramatically and so too my effort. Not long to go now, 13 weeks to trial exams so everything is starting to become a reality now.
School Ranking: 400’s….hence the need for top rankings. Do not want to be pulled down by the half assed…although my cohort is very very strong. The best the school has seen and honestly there are around 20 students who can get 85-90 ATAR’s. Watch my schools rank will dramatically increase, then drop again the next year for the woeful cohort after us.
