I got bored with photoshop after a bit of study to clear my mind and made this

I took a picture of that what appears to be angel, its on a fountain at the front of my house
here is the original:

I made this from some liquify of render clouds then polish with starfield in nebulae giving it that glow effect, comments and critisism please

i think it looks pretty cool ! i have no idea how to use photoshop so whatever you just said about how you changed it just went over my head

anyways, i like how you darkened everything, but you could still make out the eyelid [if that was even deliberate].
the flames obviously look pretty fake, but i guess it goes with the red and orange shades on the stone. meh...i have nothing to add

theyre not exactly meant to be flames, flames are easier to make if anything, just multiply what ive done without a pattern, its more of a energy glow thing

i might make another with eyes glowing but i wanted to see if i could do it on a large scale, i can do this normally on really small ones, but takes double the time on big images

^^ wat he said. There seems to be lack of control over overall feel, texture and composition of the image...but pretty good. [btw I'm good at criticising.....but am worse than you in using PS CS]

I did dis on Paint Shop Pro [not PS CS]...and quite frabkly I dunno wat I did or wat it is. You be the judge. I was bored so I just mixed up a few pictures, put a few layers and effects and saved....no thought put into it...:

Hahaha same, in year 8 (4 years ago) I used to make heaps of anime pics with abstract backgrounds
