For the timetables,
apart from enroling for a Laboratory class and Lecture class, what is the 'Other' class for? Do we need to enrol for that too?

The 'Other' class is the problem solving lecture. You're given a booklet of problems at the beginning of the semester, covering each topic. And yeah, you have to enrol in that lecture.

The funny thing is that almost nobody goes to it - unless there's a lecturer like Joe Wolfe there.

Thanks; and why does ENGG1811 (http://www.handbook.unsw.edu.au/undergraduate/courses/2013/ENGG1811.html) say "0 indicative hours per week", whereas you have to enrol for a 2hr Laboratory class and 3hr Lecture class??

Just disregard that. Look at the class times instead.
