Hello
Could you guys please help me with this question of a physics worksheet. Please show full working and solution

11. A vehicle travelling with a uniform velocity was given a uniform acceleration. It was observed to travel 15m and 23m in the 6th and 10th second after acceleration began. Find the acceleration and the initial uniform velocity of the vehicle.

Thanks

Hi.

If I have understood the question correctly the answer is as follows:

The acceleration of the vehicle is given by Δv/Δt = (23 - 15)/(10-6) = 2m/s/s

Thus, the initial velocity at t = 0 would be 6 m/s (since at t = 6, v = 15)

Hope that helped :)
