Hey every1!

I'm about to go into second year Community Welfare and we have to complete at 250 hour placement in the first semester. I'm going to be going to a homeless youth centre in Ashfield. Its not that that freaks me out its the prospect of having to apply things that we've meant to have "learnt" that has be stressed! I'm so scared!!! Heheh. Not a fun thing to be leading up to a new year.

Has anyone done a placement like this before? Any tips, etc?

I've done a similar thing, I've done just over 100 hours of placement these holidays.

My best tip is to enjoy what your doing, well atleast try to enjoy it. Don't worry about not knowing everything. People will help you when you ask for help.

Try to sound as entheastic as possible, ask lots of questions and generally take in a positive attitude and they will give you a good report back.

There isn't much else I can suggest except be yourself, and have heaps of fun.
