hmm...can i ask a question about plans...

Plan Undeclared
Term Semester 1 2006

this is what i got...do u need to declare a plan now???

If you want, you can declare your major right now. I wouldn't bother. Wait a semester (or two) before you do it. Basically you just telling the FCE what major you are doing. In first year you are only doing cores anyway, so it doesn't matter.

Yes, tell them at least before you graduate so they can put your major/s on your testamur!

It seems silly, but FCE can't assume what majors you're doing

Yeah its best to declare by second year. Just give them a bit of time to process it. I recommended that this first-year don't declare since if he/she changes major(which is quite possible), they'll have to declare it again - which is just wasting their own time.

I keep trying to declare my plan as the "Finance Co-Op" one on the drop down list, but its not processing, still says my plan is undeclared... goddamn annoying

you do it when youre enrolling in courses... thers an option to pick it at some point in the process... if you havent finished doing your timetable/course picking this could be why you havent done it yet.. not much point doing it yet anyway seeing as the bloody thing not working :angry:

You can drop into the Commerce Centre at John Goodsell do declare your plan, otherwise they will email you asking you to declare and you can reply.

hey.. thats wierd,

I declared accounting/finance yesterday..

and it just appeared as 'Plan: Accounting'

is that normal?

mine is looking funny aswell after i declared it...

oh..

its shows up correct in the academic statement as:

Program : 3502 Commerce
Plan : ACCTAD3502 Accounting Double Major
Plan : FINSAD3502 Finance Double Major
Session : Session One

Guess it just dont show up on the add courses page.

Download the Undergraduate Program/Plan change form, fill it out, and hand it into the FCE Student Centre. Thats what they told me to do.
