Hello y'all :)
I am seriously screwed for subject selection. I know a lot of you guys are going to be like OMG YOU'RE IN YR 10 ... WAIT UNTIL YOU'RE IN SENIOR
buttt... :( im really confused right now..
I want to get as high of a atar mark as i can.. my goal ( although unrealistic) is international studies/law which equals 99.65 :bomb:
Right now for units i have
English Extension 1
Maths Extension 1

But for the other 3 subjects should i choice the subjects i like ( but scale not as well) or the better scaling subjects but work towards my goal :)
right now my thoughts are
Bio
Heritage Chinese ( although i will die doing this, i am dedicated towards working hard for it)
Econ
Legal studies
Ancient History
but im open for phyics, studies of religion and ... anything else ARGHHH

Thanks in advance :):):):)

I personally suggest choosing the subjects that you like because it is most likely you will do better in them.
Or maybe i suggest doing a mixture of both the better scaling and the ones you like, but low scaling..

Bio has average scaling, heaps of content to memorize though. If you're good with memorization, then that would be an advantage to you.

As for Heritage Chinese, I really gotta check it out. Not sure what type of scaling it would give you though... (can't believe that Chinese heritage came out this year and not my year :/). Well as for Chinese, memory work and dedication to the subject, as Chinese is very demanding, similar to other languages.

Don't know much about economics all except it's a demanding subject too..

Legal studies = memory memory memory, nevertheless an interesting course. They even have technology and the law for preliminary :p

Not sure about Ancient history...

Physics... I currently do it atm, pretty boring imo, but it's a matter of understanding the concepts and learning how to apply them, similar to maths (though the amount of mathematics is generally only up to year 10 5.3 level)

Don't know much about the others...
