I downloaded a mobile game from ninemsn.com recently,
but i m not sure my phone is WAP enabled or not...
phone using: SonyEricsion k700i, optus

Wot is WAP enabled anyway....?

and wt's the hottest mobile game?

does your phone even support WAP?

if it does, maybe u have to call up optus and enable WAP. i am only guessing wait for someone more knowlegable to answer that

Anyway,
The K700i supports WAP.

The idea is that you use wap to download the game directly from ninemsn.com (or wherever). You may have to first set wap up first (call your Service provider for instructions)
However buying games obviously costs money.

If i want games on my phone i just download them straight from the internet (All they are is Java files) and then just connect the phone to my computer and transfer them. Simple and free.

Many sites offer free java games. Just search google for "Java games <your phone manufacturer/phone etc>"

Wap stands for wireless application protocol...basically allowing u to use the internet on your phone. I'm guessing you have to change the wap settings ...in the menu there should be an internet settings icon. Google optus wap settings and it should tell you the IP address, homepage, port number etc put all that into your phone and it should let u use wap as well as send mms
