Hi guys, Im having trouble understanding how an arrangement of pnp semiconductors can actually amplify a signal. The best Ive got is from csu which doenst go into much detail, all it says is " A small AC current in the emmitter-base circuit produces a large current flow in the emmitter-collection circuit that is proportional to the AC current in the emmitter-base circuit. This is a transistor amplifier." ...Can anyone please explain it better? Also, do we really need to know it in detail?
Thanks
