is anyone trying to achieve a band 6 this yr in english? if so... reply so we all can combine our intellectual thoughts...

Yup, im going for the band 6, ive been told by half our english factor that I can acheive it as long as i stop writing english essays in a history format, lol

instead, move up to advanced

It is possible to get a band 6 but its extremely hard, and apparently you cant move up to advanced

I dont think anyone will be getting a band 6 because if anyone have the ability to achieve band 6 they would be changing to advanced english long time ago..

unless they hate english just like i do

but again how can they achieve band 6 if they hate english

so conclusion, no band 6 in standard english
