well no surprises could have been worse. do you reckon i'll get into advanced science at sydney? chem was so shit. so were all my assessment marks that brought me down in mx2 and english and bio

Really screwed up my extensions but so they won't count but history came out of nowhere. The uai calculators are giving me ~95.2

If it makes you feel any better, I got below the cut-off for advanced science at usyd, and they still accepted me in the main round. I think you have a chance.

mine was the worst! but my two favourite subjects I got really good marks well (that im actually happy with)

Drama: 73 [awww.. that hurts]
Adv. Eng: 64 [NOW this JUST KILLS]
Modern Hist: 69 [1 mark off dagnabit]
Textiles: 87 [fuck yeah.. three marks off from a 6]
Visual Arts: 82 [meh.. its art]



and sam suggest i get a UAI of 55.0

oh i know what you mean, i was so stoked with my marks and still am, but hearing about a friend's 98's and 95's in EVERYTHING was a bit unsettling :eek: but still, i cant complain! lol.

Eco 2005 - 89 (this cost me a premier's dammit! but I knew that when I dropped other things this year, it's more frustrating now that the other results actually were over 90)

I'm pretty happy. Would have liked to do a little better in legal, but my UAI ought to get me into pretty much anything except law at Sydney or NSW, which I wasn't really sure I wanted to do anymore anyway.

In response to Hannah's question about ee2 a couple of pages back, the marks you have now aren't scaled - they're aligned. If your assesment mark is lower than your reported school mark, it's because your school performed below average in the external component, dragging down your assesment mark in comparison to those from other schools. The subject will still most likely scale up in UAI calculations.
