I've found so many trials in the boredofstudies site but not many half yearlies
I have my half yearlies this tuesday so when i get em back i'll post em up

I haven't got mine back yet :D It was quiet simple but I recommend you people go figure out the ins and outs of yeast fermentation of glucose

Yeast fermentation... Haven't touched that for awhile. It's the treatment of glucose with zymase enzymes at a specific temperature to extract ethanol and produce CO2, isn't it? There might've been a couple of issues associated with it, too. I'd better get into is this arvo

dont forget its in a sealed environment, and the container (flask) the fermentation is done in, has a tube going out to a beaker with lime water, it is a test too see is CO2 exists, because the CO2 produced causes lime water to go to a milky colour, the ideal temp is 37 degree's afaik

I'll hopefully be getting my half-yearly back either today or tomorrow *fingers crossed* when I get it, I'll retype all the questions for everyone, and someone can tech me how to make it a pdf file, ok?

Does anyone have any half yearlys? Could they post them on, or tell me where i could get it - got Half yearly tommorrow, and would be good to have a bit of practice

i think i got my ass whooped in chemistry, considering so far hte highest mark is 78% :(
