hey this might help.....crime is too long so heres some family and consumer questions

i think this is independent 2002
consumers
(a) evaluate effectiveness of law in balancing individual rights and values and community rights and values in consumer law.

(b) assess place of the law in providing mechanisms for resolving conflicts between consumers and business.

family
(a) evaluate effectiveness of law in recongnising and protecting individual rights and values and community rights and values.

(b) assess place of the law in providing mechanism for resolving conflicts between family members.

consumers
(a) evaluate effectiveness of legal system in addressing the rights of consumers through the regulation of marketing and advertising.

(b) with reference to the legal system assess the role of the law in achieving justice for all individuals and society when dealing with consumer issues.

family
(a) evaluate effectiveness of legal system in addressing the rights of the child in family law.

(b) with reference to the legal system assess the role of the law in achieving justice for all individuals in the breakdown of marriage.

catholic trial 2001

consumers
(a) evaluate the effectiveness of legal and non-legal processes for consumer redress.

(b) assess place of the law in resolving conflict and encouraging coopearation in protecting consumers against manufacturers and suppliers of faulty goods and services.

family
(a) evaluate the effectiveness of the legal system in protecting the rights of the children. (same as the wesssta one)

(b) assess place of the law in resolving conflict and encouraging coopearation between partners who are experiencing difficulties in their relationship.

i understand that itll take WAY too long to write down human rights and crime... but would it plz be possible just to say the gist - (like sovreignty & one domestic hr) for crime & hr's. For Catholic 2001 and Independent 2002....

for crime, cath 01 was on defences & rights of the accused, scenario was about a young guy with no education who beat up his flatmate when they were both drunk

ind 02 was about rights of alleged offenders and police powers, probs with the cjs - scenario was this middle aged guy with a poor education

hr: cath 01:
a. outline how aust. citizens' hr are protected (2)
b. outline 3 contemporary struggles where dom. law or int. law has not adequately protected ppls hr (3)
c. Briefly assess the value of a bill of rights in recognising and enforcing hr if aust. wants to adopt one (5)

ind 02:
a. discuss what is meant by the notion of individual and collective hr (2)
b. describe how hr are recognized and protected under aust. law (4)
c. discuss the effectiveness of legal or non-legal measures in responding to 1 specific example of an internationsl hr issue (4)
