A couple of quick questions about this...

~5% atm. faint purpleish glow ....(where is the glow? and whats atm?) - atm=atmosphere, glow is all along the tube.
~3% purplish streamers ....(are streamers the straited positive columns?) - no, striations come at lower pressure.
~>1% pinkish striations
>0.05% tube enveloped by crookes dark space, yellowgreenish glow at the end of tube ..... (which end?) - anode.

Btw, i thought it was the other way around, with streamers at a pressure higher than striations?

Sorry, i meant to say streamers at a higher pressure than the glow. I thought it went (with decreasing pressure):

streamers
glow
striations
dark space

hmmm .... i'm not sure... I might have wrote it wrong, but I cant exactly remember the prac now... can anyone confirm?
