I am getting down about this whole HSC thing, and my grades. i put so much effort in and only get average marks back. what are your predictions of what i could be getting with these results??

Maths : 11/81 -general
task 1 : 100%
task 2 : 100%
Half Yearly : 67%
task 3 : 69% - stupid probability!

84% assessment mark

English - standard 2/91

task 1 : 88%
task 2 : 91%
task 3 : 100%

overall : 93% - assessment mark

Society and Culture
11/35
task 1 : 70%
Task 2 : 73%
task 3 : 65%

Religion - 2 unit - 12/21

Task 1 : 70%
Task 2: 90%
task 3 : 77%
overall : 79%

modern history - 10/23

task 1 : 64%
task 2 : 75%
task 3 : 69%
task 4 : 90%
overall 74.5%

No i wouldn't call it bad....

it doesn't mater what school u go to... as long as u do well that's all that matters...

My school is ranked 324... a girl still managed to get 91.75... that may not be the best UAI.. although it's pritty d*mn good....

the previous year's highest UAI ( in 2003) was between 80 and 85....

Yeah, as long as you do well, you'll be fine. My school is ranked 323rd and 13 people got above 90 for their UAI last year. The highest was 98.45. In 2003, the highest was 99.05.

My school is ranked 508. After the 2003 HSC it was ranked somewhere around 450-500 and the highest UAI was 96.9. Pretty high for such a rank, eh?

My UAI and School Ranks

Hey
My school is ranked 14th, (think 229 band 6s out of 708, whatever that means)
I would say we have hard exams
Here are ranks/marks etc at the half yearly (some have improved, non gone down)

Eng. Adv 83% 27/115
Eng Ext 1 86% (43/50) 15/61
Eng. Ext 2 88% (44/50) 10/18
Business Studies 75% 11/34
Modern History 84% 22/29
Maths 59% 59/73
Visual Arts 98% 2/18

What am I looking at????

my schooear.. and not even selective.. :p:D:).. beat many selective skools.. lol.. i reckon our year 11 goin on to yr 12 is gonna bring the rank up.. lol.. our grade is smarter than the previous or the yr 12 rite now.. we beat them in the yr 10 SC lol..!!! more band 6s then them..!! woooo... lol.. :p ;)
t have to check.. damn killara beat us agen.. lol :(:p

I'm going to have to say 82-84.
Business Studies prolly won't count, but it's a shit scaling subject anyway..

I do English Standard also!!!
It seems like there's nobody else on these boards doing the course :eek:
