My chemistry teacher is ridiculously picky. Her marking on my answer said
'Equations??'
'Only useful in wet environments'

That's it. One sentence missing and that's almost half the marks gone. Damn it chemistry. Thank god bio is so easy.
omg whata fgt.

I swear Chem has PMS problems, and the markers that go with them...

Have you seen english L0L
Tis true. But lets be honest can you imagine sitting in a warehouse having to read thousands of creative writing pieces about kids moving to new school and feeling as though they don't belong. I'd be eternally angry too.

I guess in a question like that 'explains the chemistry of rusting' would have been included in 5/6/7 in the marking criteria, and your teacher probably required an equation to satisfy that. That really sucks though. I lost 2 marks out of 6 on a Haber process question because I said the source of ammonia was chilean saltpetre when I meant to say it was the source of nitrates, so I feel your pain! :(

Guys want to hear my most embarrassing trial mistake.

Question "You have studied the chemistry and construction of a lead-acid battery OR dry cell. Identify the cell you have studied and draw a diagram of its construction"

My answer: Silver Button Cell *draws silver button cell*
*loses 10 marks because that was not an option*

smh

I can imagine myself sitting in a warehouse reminiscing about my times of writing creative writings and blah blah, making me give everyone a mark in the A range if it isn't that bad, while getting paid. :D

Rough :( your answer was probably worth 10 as well, just not an option.

Trial exam question on biomass as a fuel ---> I forget everything about cellulose ----> I write a 2 page response on how we can burn wood, complete with multiple chemical equations hahahaha

It's exo, forgot to put it in.
Increasing temp = solubility of carbon dioxide decrease.
Increasing pressure = solubility of carbon dioxide increase
Using LCP
why does solubility of carbon dioxide decrease when temperature increase? I know that by increasing the temperature it favours the reactants but not sure about solubility.
