Hi all,
I'm Sam, and I graduated as dux of Gosford Selective High School back in 2012. I am now in my third year of combined law (ATAR 99.7) at the University of Sydney with a high distinction WAM/average. I came first modern, ancient, and extension history in addition to legal studies within my school, and was ranked 15th and 9th in the state for modern and extension history, respectively. Given that I achieved band sixes in all subjects, I was included on the Premier's All Rounder's List for 2012.
My marks were:
- Ancient: 96
- Legal: 96
- Modern: 97
- History Extension: 49

Given all of this, my prices are higher than the average you will find. However, this is for good reason: these are premium notes. They include, and in some cases even preference, essays as well as summaries; these will provide you with guidance not only on content but also writing style and are therefore an invaluable resource. Please note that all notes and essays are single spaced and in size 12 font when assessing length based on the page counts provided, or handwritten and scanned (still very legible) in the case of some essays. Most essays were sent to the relevant teacher and okayed as being worth full or near full marks during the pre-HSC prep period.
The mindmaps I offer for a number of units are very helpful in illustrating how the concepts and topics connect, allowing you to quickly appreciate the schema and logic of the unit (in addition to its content).

Modern History
For modern I studied WWI as my core, the USA as my national study, the Cold War as my period study, and General Douglas MacArthur as my personality. The whole course is available at $50, or $20 per topic if bought individually.
- WWI: 25 page summary, incredibly detailed (almost the same amount of detail as a summary) mindmap), and 20 pages of past paper responses.
- USA: 15 page summary, 15+ 1500 word essays on every dot point in the syllabus (better than any summary), 20 page summary of essays.
- Cold War: 30 pages of essays covering every dot point in the syllabus (25,000+ words).
- MacArthur: 18 pages of essays covering every dot point in the syllabus.

For ancient I studied the Cities of Vesuvius core, the Julio-Claudian Period, Agrippina II as my personality, and Spartan society. The whole course is available at $50, or $20 per topic if bought individually.
- Cities of Vesuvius: 35 page summary, incredibly detailed mindmap, and answers to all available past papers (23 pages).
- Julio-Claudians: research essay that received 100%, 36 page summary, list of key sources/quotations, 38 pages of essays answering every dot point in syllabus, and transcript of my trial HSC answer that received 25/25 and was subsequently distributed to the grade as an exemplar.
- Agrippina II: 16 page summary, and 27 pages of essays answering every dot point in syllabus.
- Sparta: 27 page in depth summary, 9 page miniature summary, and 27 pages of answers to all available past papers.

Extension History
In history extension I studied Queen Elizabeth as my case study in addition to What Is History. I completed my major work on the Earl of Leicester, one of QEI's courtiers. Given the shorter length of this subject, it is available at $20 per unit or $30 for both. My major work can be purchased for $10.
- Elizabeth: my generic essay that was memorised and then used in the HSC itself, a transcript of the 25/25 essay I wrote during my trials that was then distributed to my cohort as an exemplar, 30 journal articles relevant to the topic and inaccessible without a university ID or subscription to JSTOR, and 37 pages worth of answers to past papers.
- What Is History: my generic essay that was memorised and then used in the HSC itself, 16 pages of notes, 61 pages of past paper answers, misc summaries and articles I collected relevant to the topic.
- Major Work: received 100%.

Legal Studies
For legal studies I completed the core units of crime and human rights along with the family law and shelter modules. Please note, as I stated above, I am currently studying law at the University of Sydney, which is the best undergraduate law course in the nation.
