Problems with EndNote on Mac (1 Viewer)

Hey, so I'm trying to use endnote at the moment for one of my essays, but every time I Insert the citation to word, my computer lags a bit and then there's an error

THe only thing I've installed is Endnote x6 for mac, the lady at the library told me that I might possibly need to install something else for it to work,
does anyone know the name of that thing that I need to install and where I could find it?

Apparently you constantly need the most updated add-ons and stuff for macs to make endnote work. I don't know much more than that though, I'm afraid.
