Did any first years here do psychology this semester? How did you find it? I'm thinking of doing psyc1002 this semester but I'm worried I might be disadvantaged having not done it in 1st semester.

I'm in the same boat as you. I managed to get around this by getting the Psych notes off my friend.

You'll be at a slim to none disadvantage, psych is such a broad area of study and the topics are so discrete that almost nothing in 1001 is assumed knowledge for 1002. It's all either common sense or bs anyway.

ummm chicky.... isn't it a requirement to do psych1001 before you can do psych1002?

I think that you can skip Psyc1001 if you ask for special permission from the dean. Psych is pretty self explanatory, so i think you could learn most of the facts yourself. Haha not quite bs though

Psych '02 has totally different topics, so apart from perhaps stats/subj matter and method, there shouldn't be much overlap.
