blink182 is definitely punk.. they rock ! i like the new punk stuff like -- simple plan, yellowcard, new found glory, good charlotte...

*sigh* those aren't punk, and i wouldn't even call them rock. more of pop. just 'cause the guys look punk dont mean the music is punk.

i wouldn't call blink, yellowcard etc "pop". pop is the britney/jessica simpson crap. they are the NEW punk.. as in, a different version ? and i didn't think they *looked* punk.. good charlotte are actually gothic-ish with all the black makeup n shyte..
and i didn't think there was "real" or "fake" punk. just different kinds of it.
