I am so confused...For advanced science, I need to make a decision for my direction now...I am wobbing between biochemistry and pure chemistry...
I am quite good at calculation and logical thinking and soooo poor at writing essays...But my real interest is biology, especially the moleculars or proteins...
so anybody can give me some suggestions....?

Cheers...:shy:

You can do both in second year. There are only two Biochem subjects on offer in 2nd year. So you can pick both of these (BIOC2XXX) and also enrol yourself in a range of other CHEMXXXX courses. Your chosen major at this stage (pick either Biochem or Chem for the moment) can be changed again in your thid year.

When you hit 3rd year science courses, all exams are pretty much essay based.

You can double-major in Chemistry and Biochemistry if you like. Since both require the same 2nd year pre-req courses.
