Hey, how did you all do the financial expectation q? i completely forgot the formula.

i think i did...prob. of winning (4/5) times $8 times 60...
im not sure..

Can someone tell me the correct formula? ive thrown all my notes away. lol.

25 c i) - 3/5 x 60 = 36 times to win $4

ii) (3/5 x 4) + (1/5 x 0) + (1/5 x -8) = 4/5 or 80c

iii) (3/6 x 4) + ( 2/6 x 0) + (1/6 x -8) = 2/3 or 67c

a change of 13c

think i did too i got like $38, doint care though it's done and if you dont get the marks you wanted it's not the end of the world

yeh, well, i stuffed that one up, but i think i went ok for the rest of the exam, so a few marks here and there wont matter too much..well, if its a lot of a few marks..lol. thanks for that though. i knew i had forgotten to study something!
