not me!! i hate projectile motion and sat there confusing myself. ended up coming up with some answer i KNOW is wrong!! :(

I think it was fair for a q6 - if it had been in q7 it would have been to easy

did anyone else get two answers for the final part. like 45 degrees and 71 degrees. i wsnt sure to i just put between 15 degrees and 45 degrees.

there are 2 ranges for theta. 15<theta<45 is one, but the other was larger 71<theta<somehitng

shutup you fool. you didnt even read the q. it wanted the rnages of theta to hit the wall. not not make it over. it is between 15 and 45 and there is another range above 71 to something

yeh i got values of theta as 45 and 71...BUT i didnt put it was in between! doesnt it say just hit the wall? not over, or under, or whatever?

well it says the front part of the wall.
so at x=40,
0 < y < 20

Boys and girls...it just clears the top of the wall at 45 and 71 degrees. but at 71 degrees the water is falling. at 45 degrees it just reaches horizontal. so make the angle 46 degrees and it clears the wall...same for 45 through to 71 degrees. misses bottom at 15 degrees. anything above 15 and below 45 degrees hits wall. 15<theta<45...thats it

i only did the very first part of the projectile motion because of time, and aced it.
But it was good to see something easy in such an otherwise hard test
