Hey guys, im having trouble with this question.

Solve:

16^x-12.2^2x=-32

if you could please show working out step by step that would be awesome (Y)

16^x-12.2^2x=-32

2^4x-12.2^2x+32=0

let u=2^2x

u^2-12u+32=0

(u-8)(u-4)=0

u=8 or 4

2^2x=8 or 4

2^2x=2^3
2^2x=2^2

x=1 or 3/2
