Does anyone have info in techniques and other stuff you need to write about for question 1?

I just rang the advice line and they gave me some good advice in relation to question 1.
I talked to them in relation to the specimen paper 2001.
For question 1, text one, you'd be looking normally at not writing more than 2 lines for a one mark question.
For part ii) of 1 you'd normally be dealing with the language/visual techniques used in the particular text. For example visual features such as 'juxtaposition of images', colour, shape, positioning of images.
For the part d) which is your 6 mark question you'd need to be writing at least 3-4 pages depending on the size of your writing. Also very important that you spend the majority of your writing on the text that you have to normally choose. For example "Which item would be your first choice for book" If you chose book 1 then you would spent majority of your time talking about book 1.
