(i) correct.
(ii) the formula i did was A = 20000w^3 - 60/100 x T
(iii) I got 8.8 because 14.6 - 5.8 = 8.8.
(iv) correct.
(v) 33% :)

percentage error was 2%. if its one mark then you'll lose most likely.

sigh.. part two of that question was between 17.5 x 25.5 and 16.5 x 24.5. That seem right?

hi :)

for 30a)ii) i had 0.4(20000w^3), i think your one misses out the 20000 and ^3

sorry i can't remember what iii and iv were (the questions) :/ and i got 33% not 133%, because if it was over 100% it would of meant that it would double... which i don't think it did...

um and i think shaziee7's
between 17.5 x 25.5 and 16.5 x 24.5.
is correct! :) (because its both the upper and lower areas)

Can anyone explain the very last question?
i'll try... :/

4.1/41= 0.1 (so that means there is 0.1 litres of oil left and 40x0.1 (4 litres) of petrol)

So now we need to get it down to 25:1 instead of 40:1

So 4 litres of the 4.1 left are petrol, so we need to get this 0.1 of oil to equal 1/25= 4%

So 4% of 4 litres = 0.16

0.16-0.1= 0.06 litres of oil to be added. and I THINK thats the answer...

hope that helps... :)
