Hi!
I'm a Bachelor of Science/ Master of Nursing student entering first year.
I was wondering if it is necessary to buy textbooks.
Cause, some people have recommended not buying textbooks until i've gone to some lectures and even then, it might not be necessary unless i'm struggling in that course. is that true?
so if i decide not to buy textbooks until i've tried the course, will it effect my understanding in the beginning? would i be completely lost?

Please help :)

Thanks

They will tell you if you need textbooks in the first lecture.

The content in the first week or so of university is quite light in contrast to content later in the semester. You will have adequate time to purchase textbooks if you're the cautious type.
