well anyways.. even though ur statments are clearly false.. i'll still offer a bit of help...

well first of all... check the syllabus and what it defines crime fiction genre to be.. and the convention of the gnere.. etc... have a read... and well ur gonna have to do some reserach on the conventions of crime fiction genre....

a very important part.. is the the choice of the detective charactersistics...

PD James.. doesn't employ the usual tough.... fearless... detective... instead she employs a lady... that doesn't really fit into the criteria of a detective (not because she's a lady but rather because she's not quite the every day detective u see in movies or read about in books) .. well that's what we might think anyways... but u must explore what the usual female detecive would be like in other novels.. and compare it to skull beneath the skin..

she plays around with the conventions.... and usually well even the least suspicious is not eleminated from the detectives suspect list.. however cordelia unfortunately eliminated a very important suspect... (I won't mention the name incase someone hasn't read the book and doesnt want the ending spoilt..)

so yeh.. it's pritty easy actaully... just do a little resreach.. use quotations... and i mean u can get some essays off the resources section for english extention 1

so yeh.. good luck...

If you can't be constructive, don't talk at all. Thanks.

btw, moved to Genre Subforum, and please post all module/elective related questions in the relevant subforums. It makes things easier to find.
