I'm an advanced student. I recently completed my belonging creative (which is a short story). I showed it to a few people who finished school and they said it was band 5-6 material. Anyway, I gave it to my English teacher to look over, and she said that what I was doing isn't the correct path for the HSC.
She told me that the best way to prepare for the HSC belonging creative is to do heaps of practice papers on that section untill I can write a band 6 story. She also told me that there's no point to write a story like that cause I may not be able to modify it according to the stimulus. (To be honest that's not my major concern at the moment).
Also, I've always been taught to write one if not a few pre-planned creatives, before the exams. So if anyone can tell me, what is the best method for preparing for this section of the exam, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
