question - why did a thread speaking out against howard get locked? (1 Viewer)

there was an interesting thread dissing howard and his supporters, saying the truth about how fucked up our education system is and how international students are getting more benefits than us locals because of these stupid policies....but when i went to reply it was locked......why? is the mod a howard supporter? was this thread locked out of bias? im bored

The post was locked because it was useless in terms of mature discussion. It was flaming of a political leader with the most indecent language possible for no other reason then the passion of hatred. Such threads do nothing for this forum and so was closed.

It crossed the line between rational discussion of a view and an offensive rant against an individual. I don't bring my own political views into context when I'm reading a post which has been reported. The poster should feel free to repost, bringing the guidelines of this forum into consideration

So long as your discussion is factional and rational, sure.

I enjoy reading this forum since so many different points of view are put forth, but I don't care for obnoxious behaviour .. and I try to ensure that I won't close a thread simply because I don't like the topic of discussion.

(Or else many of these threads would have been permanently deleted, oh ho!)

I think so. Timbk2 seems to have a big av too lol.

My max is 100x300 (widthxheight) .. also I only have paint and microsoft photo editor at work so resizing is painful
