How many A4 pages do you think one would manage to write in 36-40 minutes? How many in about 20 mins ? Im pre writing essays but im not too sure about how long i should keep them... dont wanna run out of time in the exam... How much would u manage to write in 20 minutes...

Jennifer, dont youdo MPW? there are many subjects that give out a "seen" exam where the questions are given before the final exam for students to prepare so that the failure rate can be guarded against. MPW gives out v. specific hints right? i liked that part of the subject, helped me pass that subject.
Remeber that quality matters but also you have to ANSWER the question and not write everything you know about the subject (usually due to excessive cramming) as many lecturers will not give you full but only part marks. provide relevant theories etc.
personally, it depends, i can write fast but my writing becomes illegible, more neat = time for me. In 20 mins, if i know what to write it will definately speed up and so more pages written. SO also plan what to write so you dont forget and allows you to add extra stuff as you go along.

no MPW doesn't - we're told which week's work possible questions will come from... but since the possible questions cover all except one week its not much helpklh said:
we were told its best to learn stuff for all possible questions since we have no idea what they'll ask..
ps everyone, espec 1st years - the pages aren't like the hsc booklets - t hey're way smaller so don't stress about how many pages to write because they're littler anyways. Quality over quantity anyways everyone

yeah them books are small...its like 50-75% writing amount of an excercise book.
tip: go to your newsagent and buy grips for your pen, they save your hands alot and try to keep you pressure when holding a pen relaxed and normal and not hard. i think they are like 70c ...the foam ones, dont get the rubber ones.
did they change mpw? i asked my friend doing it this semester and he said they were specific or moreso that any other exam he has had.
dont you hate it when you start the exam everything is nice and neat and at the end all your writing is messy and stuff...i have an unfortunate writing disorder called doctor writing..

I have grip pens, yet I still write slow. But I also hold the pen funny, which is the reason I write so slow. I full scrunch up my handklh said:
its really bad, but I can't change it.At the beginning of an exam my handwriting looks like these letters being typed and strangely enough at the end, its still exactly the same
its a microeconomics exam and we were given the questions that will be in the exam ? not suggested ones like in law foundt but the exact questions from the exam, that's why im prewriting them..= Jennifer = said:

so it tells you what weeks but like...Ron our lecturer reccommended you do at least 4 in your study coz the questions could be anything...
its better than intro to law or torts though coz for those you gotta know everything and you gotta have citations n stuff ... so happy b usines doesn't want any referencing
