what do they mean if they ask u things quantitatively and qualitatively ?

i read in a book somewhere that back emf is dependent on frequency, can someone simplify this ?

what is the unit for 'k', is it coloumbs or something ?

qualitative => My cat is fat.
quantitative => My cat is 20 kg.

what are you refering to when you say frequency, do you mean the rate of change of the flux on a coil?
anyways, EMF = n (change in flux)/(change in time)
[this is not in the syllabus i dont think]

coulombs measures Charge and is denoted by C

K means kelvins, and measures the temperature

I initally thought it would be the magnetic constant thingy, 2x10^-7

oops misread, i thought he meant what unit is k,

for the unit of magnetic constant, just mess around the eqn B=kI/d a bit...
u get k=Bd/I, so k = 2*10^7 TmA^-1
