I was doing a practice paper and came across this question;


I answered C (position 3) as I thought that networks generally went;

Node(s)-->router-->modem-->internet.

But my teacher believes that D (position 4) is where the router would be.

Which one is it?

does depend on how you look at it. the boxes could be exchanges and such. but im pretty sure its 4.

I think I have been thinking about it in the wrong context. I should be thinking about it in a business or large network context rather than a home network, etc.
