i wanna know how much does your actual hsc mark influence your UAI.
everyone keeps telling me that your rank is the most important, and that if ur second, then you will get second highest mark even if you beat the guys who's coming first.

is this true, if so WHAT THE HELL IS THE POINT OF STUDYING ONCE YOUR RANKS ARE SET??? let the other losers study for you.

my ranks are so far
adv. eng 3rd
maths (2/3) dunno yet
phys 2nd
chem 3rd
bio 3rd business 1st


for all sciences i have a very good chance of actually coming first in the exam (i bludged throughout the whole year, but seriously studying now) im not too shabby for maths as well, and english im pretty confident.

Well you keep your exam mark regardless.. so if you screw up your exam, that mark will drag down your HSC Mark. I personally wouldn't depend on others to achieve the good marks... they could screw up.

Just study and do your best... only 40 more days of this.

If A got 95% internal where B got like 94% or something, B pwned exam, A did ok. B can still achieve a higher hsc mark than A
