Quoting poetry (1 Viewer)

Should we indicate the end of a line when quoting poetry? Such as
"and he sees the vision splendid of the sunlit plains extended / and at night the wonderous glory of the everlasting stars" or just leave it as one big sentance.

Also, when naming the guy who wrote that, is it OK to say 'Banjo' Patterson, or should it be A.B Patterson or A.B. 'Banjo' Patterson or whatever. Thanks.

haha, you think my ext.1 story is funny, you should read my ext.2 story -
"he squeezed through the crowd like a wet fart through sweaty bumcheeks"
