For future reference what does it is actually mean by the word 'nature' as used in assignments and tests - I think it means the who, what, when where why and how but I actually don't know what it means. Someone please help.

Doesn't it mean certain qualities or defining aspects in an event?... that's how i interpret nature

It means simply

who
what
when
where
why

thats how i look at it.
