Can ur ranks change if u flog the ones above you? for eg. ur rank 5 in maths and u beat ranks 2,3 and 4 in the hsc.... would u get a higher mark than them in that subject?

It depends on their examination marks.

Remember that your HSC mark is the average of your moderated assessment mark and your exam mark. If they beat you in assessments, you'll need to beat them by at least that much in the exam.
