pple must have got the letter from BOS already. so what do they mean when they say that ranks are availble from nv 12, are these ranks the ones submitted by the school, or the ones based on marked exams so far???

It is the ranks you got on your final report.

But the final report was only the half yearly and the trial mark. I didnt inculde the first HSC test we did. Isnt the rank what you got throughout the entire year ?

Yes.

My school hasnt been giving continuous rnk placing. Only indvidualrank for each assesssment

its weird, but my school told us that the teachers weren't allowed to tell us the rank or the assessment mark... (and even if they gave u individual ranks, the teachers know how to work out ur overall rank n e ways..)

Teachers can't tell you your assessment marks, but can tell you your rank.
