Raw Mark for E4? (1 Viewer)

What do you guys reckon the raw mark for an E4 will be this year? It was roughly 39/50 for a borderline E4 (45) for 2010. Do you reckon it will be the same? The difficulty of the exam wasn't too extreme nor was it too easy.

I don't know what module you did but after the bomb was pretty broad... So for atb probably higher.

yeah its probably going to stay the same- 40/50 might get you 45/50.
what do you think you need to get 48/50? Maybe a raw mark of 48/50 as well?

I'm assuming 44-45/50 will get you an aligned of 48 (probably).

Maybe 35/50? That would give an aligned 40/50 I think.

E3 cut off is 35/50 aligned. Looking over some past raw marks, it might be 25/50 raw.

Aligning is what the Board of Studies does with your marks--that is, in EE1, if you get an exam score of 39, it will get aligned to 44 and hence, your external mark after the aligning process is 44, which is an E3.
Scaling is what UAC does with your aligned marks (both internal + external average), so if you got a HSC mark of 44, this will get scaled to higher mark, depending on the subject.
A raw mark of 45 will probably scale to 48, while a raw mark of 47 will get you 50 (I think).
