i dont know if this has been asked before but . . .
from what i know, the uai takes the"raw marks from the board" - does this include your school assesment mark/ranking?

The Board supplies the following marks to the Technical Committee on Scaling:

• Raw examination marks - these are the actual figures awarded by the HSC markers.
• Initial moderated assessment marks - these are your raw school assessment marks after they have been moderated to conform to the distribution of the raw examination marks.

The two are averaged to produce a single raw HSC mark, which is then scaled and becomes available to be included in a student's UAI.
