i have noticed the ever increasing numbers of reality TV
Australian Idol
The Apprentice
Survivor
Popstars
big Brother
Every single gardening show

i myself love to sit down and watch australian idol
big brother i have noticed has also lost its appeal

wot do you think?
have these shows come to their last breath? or do u feel that people cant get enough of others emotions being screened for all to see???

To an extent, I think Big Brother redeemed itself with this season. It completely sucked with Celebrity Big Brother and Regie Season.

They conjured up 4 freakin Million viewers in its finale! Wow.

As For The Best -

I think I've hated every single reality TV show that's aired.
I think this will go down as a sad time in TV history. It's not like any of them even were interesting/clever enough to develop a 'cult' following... I mean, who goes and re-watches old episodes of people brushin their teeth, or arguing about who's cooking the dinner.

I agree with porge, I think people like the OC because they're so friggin sick of reality shows (oh and cop/forensic shows too!!) that even melodrama/soapies are practically a breath of fresh air.
