It says you can ask for them after the HSC. It doesn't specifically say you can't ask before that.


While I agree it can lead to complacency/loss of confidence, in reality this will already have happened based on marks and seeing how others go. I think the certainty of the rank is preferable to nervousness or being worried over how well you went. Best to just get handed it and get over it before the HSC.

Lol then that statement is useless. It like saying, you can ask later, but you can also ask now. The statement will have a purpose behind it. You're suggesting its redundant crap.


Worry and nervousness can be helped by having a "general" idea of your rankings. Everyone would know generally where they stand as they receive all individual rankings. So there is nothing to be nervous or be worried about. You know how you went in that task.

Despair and complacency however, will not arise. In fact, I think that this uncertainty can help people to continue working.
